Desiree Partners with Shandong University of Science and Technology: A Visit & Internship Event to Boost Innovation

On the afternoon of April 27th, a delegation of 75 teachers and students majoring in Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering from the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST), visited Qingdao Desiree Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. for an internship and exchange program. This initiative aims to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, and explore new paths for cultivating talents in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

During the visit, the teachers and students were guided to the production and assembly workshops, where they observed the entire production process, equipment installation details, and key operational standards and technical points in component processing, assembly, and commissioning. They also gained close access to Desiree’s core product portfolio, including automated warehouse systems, smart parking equipment, full-series automotive lifts, four-way shuttles, stackers, and heavy-duty industrial racks. Technical experts demonstrated the operation of core equipment such as intelligent logistics and warehousing systems, intuitively presenting the working principles, functional advantages, and application scenarios of the products, along with R&D concepts and technological innovation highlights combined with real production cases.

The atmosphere was lively during the exchange. Students actively took notes on production and installation skills, as well as core product features, and raised questions about the application of professional knowledge, on-the-job operational requirements, and industry development trends, engaging in in-depth discussions with technical experts. Both teachers and students stated that this internship effectively broke the barrier between theory and practice, allowing them to experience the charm of intelligent equipment production firsthand, broaden their professional horizons, and clarify directions for future academic studies and career planning.
